2-Factor Authentication is an added layer of security that means your account is still protected even if your password is compromised
2-Factor Authentication requires users to verify their identity through something they know (such as a password) plus something they have (such as a code delivered to a device, an SMS text message for example.
Ingredients (You will need)

Your work email account and password

Your mobile phone
Method (Estimated time to complete 5-10 minutes)
1. Open a private browsing window in Safari or Chrome and visit mail.yourcompanyname.com
2. Sign-in with your work email address. You'll be presented with a notification as below. Click Next.
3. From the drop-down menu, select "Authentication Phone". Enter the mobile phone number you wish to have your verification codes sent to. Then click Next.
4. You will then receive a text message from Microsoft to the number you submitted. Something similar to:
"123456
Use this code for verification"
5. Enter this code in the dialog box. Click Verify
6. All done! You can close this window.
IMPORTANT!
You will need to re-verify your email app to continue sending/receiving emails!
1. Reverify your email app on computer!
On your computer mail app (Outlook or Mac Mail for example) you should get a pop-up notification asking you to re-verify your account. This means entering your password again in a browser pop-up window and entering another code which is sent to your mobile number.
2. Reverify your email on iPhone Mail app.
On your iPhone, go to Settings > Password & Accounts > Tap your account listed and re-enter you password. You will also have to enter the code sent to the mobile phone number you specified earlier.
