This guide is all about signing out and in of Office apps. Office apps are Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams & To Do as examples.
MAC:
Sign-in to Office apps on Mac
1. Open any Office app such as Word and select Sign In.
2. In the Sign in window, type the email address and password you use with Microsoft. You may be asked to provide extra verification methods to your account (such as a mobile number)
Sign-out of Office apps on Mac
1. In any Office app, select the name of the Office app in the top menu.
2. Select Sign Out.
3. Quit out of all Office apps.
WINDOWS:
Sign-in of Office app on PC
1. Open an app such as Word or Excel, and open an existing file, or create a new one.
2. Select File > Account Click Sign In.
3. Then in the Sign in window, type the email address and password you use with Microsoft. You may be asked to provide extra verification methods to your account (such as a mobile number)
Sign-out of Office app on PC
1. In any Office app, go to File > Account > Sign out.
2. Close all Office apps.
