If you're moving to a new computer it's handy to export and import your browser bookmarks. Follow the guides below for your relevant browser app.
Chrome
1. Open Chrome, click on Bookmarks > Bookmarks Manager > Click the three dots on the right hand side. Choose Export Bookmarks.
2. This will export the bookmarks file. Save it to your Desktop folder and you can then attach it to an email or WeTransfer it to yourself. So you can access it on the new MacBook.
3. With Chrome open on your new MacBook, go to Bookmarks Manager once again. Click the three dots and choose Import Bookmarks this time. Select the bookmarks file you wish to import.
Safari
1. Open Safari.
2. In the menu bar, select the “File” tab.
3. Click “Export Bookmarks”.
4. Enter a name and the location for the bookmarks file. Save on desktop folder and attach to an email or WeTransfer it to yourself.
5. Click “Save” to complete the process.
6. Then on the new machine, open Safari, click File then Import From and choose Bookmarks HTML File. Select the file you wish to import.
